Biography:
French-born American painter Annette Poitau received her MFA with honors from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. She also studied at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City. After showing her work extensively in France, she moved to California, where she lived for 12 years. She currently works full time at her studio in Oberlin, Ohio. Her paintings are displayed in numerous private and public collections in the U.S., throughout Europe, and in Japan.
