Kimber has been doing sculpture since she was a teenager. She fell in love with welding at an early age but was unable to pursue it due to the class only being available to males. She then started taking classes in the sculpture department, where she then fell in love with sculpture. Kimber describes being a sculptor a rewarding yet difficult path:
“As a female sculptor in a male-dominated field of art, I have counted the numbers of commissions, sales, and numbers and watched as male counterparts flourish.
I am very proud of my expansive body of work as my determination and story are apart of each unique piece.”
