Mary Bielenstein’s representational paintings reflect the mystery of life and take us down a path of discovery. Noticeably layered with the seen and the unseen, the past, the present and the future come together on her canvases. Pulling together paper, fabric, acrylic paint and medium with other materials allows her to create work with a sense of timelessness and subtlety. Her subjects are often women that display strength of nature and reflect themes such as growth, truth, and a strong connection to the natural world. Inspiration also comes from animals such as horses, birds, and butterflies, drawn by their beauty and innate characteristics. Mary lives and paints in Coral Gables, Florida.
