Even as planning ramps up for the 62nd Annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival — Feb. 13-15, 2027 — we’re taking a moment to look back at what made 2026 so remarkable, and to celebrate the extraordinary artists who made it that way.
For more than six decades, CGAF has championed the place where community, culture, and creative expression collide. In 2026, that mission came roaring to life along the Biscayne Bay waterfront, where Coconut Grove’s scenic bayfront was transformed — once again — into a dynamic open-air gallery, live performance stage, and cultural playground unlike anything else in South Florida.
This year’s festival brought together 285 internationally recognized artists, including a wave of exciting new participants, alongside fine art, live performances, hands-on activities, and immersive experiences that gave every visitor — from seasoned collectors to curious first-timers — something to remember.

An enduring and beloved tradition in South Florida
As always, the festival was about much more than simply viewing art. It was about discovery, connection, and personal exchange. One of the things that makes CGAF so special is the opportunity for guests to meet artists face-to-face, hear the stories behind their work, and witness the craftsmanship and individuality that shape each piece. That spirit of artistic exchange continues to define the festival and helps explain why it remains such an enduring and beloved tradition in South Florida.
As Executive Director Camille Marchese noted in advance of the festival, “Every purchase made directly from an artist becomes more than the acquisition of a beautiful object — it becomes an investment in creativity, individuality, and artistic livelihoods.”
The 2026 festival also delivered the rich, multidimensional experience that audiences have come to expect from CGAF. Festival highlights included
- The Stacks, presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, which brought live music, mural painting, and interactive DIY art activities to Peacock Park.
- Arts & Drafts Beer Garden, presented by Cervecería La Tropical.
- Inner Artist, which invited guests into hands-on creative experiences at Regatta Park
- Comic Kid, a playful zone for young creators.
- Young Collectors Club, where children ages 6 to 12 could begin their own art collections.
- Collectors Club, presented by First Horizon Bank, which elevated the festival experience with exclusive amenities and hospitality.

Our 2026 Arts Festival Winners
As we look ahead to the 2027 Festival, we also want to look back with gratitude and pride. The Best in Show winner Nathalia Toledo Barcia (in the Painting/Clay category, pictured above) along with our Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners – who represent the extraordinary level of talent on display at this year’s festival. Their work captured the attention and admiration of both our jurors and our visitors, and it is important to recognize the creativity, vision, and technical excellence they brought to the streets of Coconut Grove. A Beacon of Artistic Excellence
The Coconut Grove Arts Festival has long served as a beacon of artistic excellence and community connection. Beyond the festival weekend itself, CGAF continues to champion South Florida’s arts community through educational and cultural initiatives, including scholarships for Florida International University and Miami-Dade high school students, the Visiting Artists Program, and the Next Generation Emerging Artist Program. That broader mission is part of what makes the success of each year’s festival so meaningful: it is not only a celebration of art in the moment, but an investment in future generations of artists.
We are deeply grateful to the 285 artists who joined us this year, along with our award winners, patrons, sponsors, and vendors, for helping make the 2026 Coconut Grove Arts Festival such a memorable success. A special thank-you also goes to our dedicated volunteers and the CGAF Board of Directors, whose commitment and support continue to help bring this extraordinary event to life.
As preparations continue for the next Coconut Grove Arts Festival, we do so inspired by the talent, enthusiasm, and spirit of community that defined this year’s event. And before we turn the page completely, we are proud to honor the artists whose remarkable work helped make the 2026 festival one to remember.
