AUGUST 12, 2024 – In an exciting showcase of talent and dedication, the Coconut Grove Artist Festival’s Chair Elect Pam Mayer and Scholarship Awardee Manola Silva-Hanson recently appeared on WSFL-TV’s “Inside South Florida.” They highlighted the transformative impact of CGAF scholarships on young, aspiring artists. Manola, a 2024 graduate of New World School of the Arts, is among the 16 enthusiastic seniors awarded a $3,000 scholarship this past summer to support their college endeavors this fall.

Pam took the opportunity to clarify a common misconception: the CGAF is not just a three-day event.

“We work year-round in the community,” she emphasized, “showcasing the festival’s broader commitment through initiatives like the high school scholarship program.”
