The countdown to one of the nation’s most celebrated art experiences has officially begun.
The Coconut Grove Arts Festival (CGAF), South Florida’s premier outdoor arts event, has opened its artist application process for the 2026 show, set to return over Presidents’ Day Weekend, February 14, 15, and 16. For artists around the country, this marks the beginning of an exciting journey that culminates in front of tens of thousands of art lovers, collectors, and buyers from around the world.
“This is the launchpad moment,” says Camille Marchese, Executive Director of CGAF. “Over the next few months, we’ll be gathering applications and evaluating extraordinary work from artists in every discipline—seeking out those whose talent and vision will shape next year’s Festival.”
Each year, up to 285 artists are selected through a juried process that celebrates a wide range of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, mixed media, fiber, wood, glass, and more. But what truly sets CGAF apart is its reputation—not only as a fine arts festival with robust sales and high-caliber patrons, but as a creative community that supports and uplifts working artists and emerging artists, young and old.
